Vintage Dynaco PAT-5 Preamplifier
This is a WORKING Dynaco Pat-5 preamplifier. The only issue i could find with this,is if you turn the bass pot towards max, it will produce a very loud hum through the speakers. Running flat,it works fine. Becaus of the issue with the bass pot, it will require service, which is why im selling this for parts or repair.

Pretty well preserved unit, had to repaint cover but luckily I have skills and resources. Some slight dings on face , over all really good. Plays great nothing gets hot and looks 100% stock.

Dynaco ST-70 tube amplifier with upgrades! Uses 3 12AU7 tubes. Also installed are triode/pentode switches to select between triode and pentode modes on the output tubes. Triode sounds more midrangy with a little less power and pentode is more linear with more power.

Up for sale here is this complete recap kit for the Dynaco PAT-4 preamplifier. This includes replacements for all electrolytic capacitors on the PAT-4, including individual capacitors to replace the 3-section can capacitor. It also includes two resistors and a terminal strip to aid in replacing the can capacitor, and two diodes to replace diodes D1 and D2. This kit includes the following:21 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Supertech axial, Panasonic film) 2 1N4004 diodes2 resistors1 terminal stripInstructions These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are all at the same or higher uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings. The 3-section can capacitor is replaced with two 1000 uf 100v caps and one 1000 uf 35v cap. These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild vintage gear. This only includes replacements for the electrolytic caps, not the film caps. The old sea-green Seacor film capacitors are really good caps–don’t replace them! I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is moderately complicated.
