This unit is in great condition for the age. It does power on, lights turn on. The reel spins when put in rewind but not forward. You can hear the motor spinning inside when in fast forward, so I assume a belt is broken. Unit is believe to work properly, but was not able to fully test. Does not include the power cable. I made an adapter to extend the power plugs out so a modern cord can be plugged in. I package things very well and have multiple positive feedback on large heavy items like CRT tvs and stereos.
