Powers up, no bad noises, no smoke lol, display is a bit dim but it is visible when you switch between functions, can see when radio bands are changed, also can faintly see the frequency counter, does produce sound through speakers although I don’t think I hooked them up correctly. Been in the attic for a long time Sold as is, for parts or repair.
