It is not tinned copper . Resin insulated, wire shielded, cloth covered & covered with clear lacquer. This wire is in perfect shape and pliable with no cracking. This wire was originally purchased in January 1986, 30 years ago This wire was recovered from an old electrical supply house, and would be perfect for automobile, airplane and vintage electronics restorations.
