Found this cool vintage gem lurking in a closet – sans batteries, thankfully. It plugs into AC using an integrated cord, or it runs on DC with a 12V 1A adapter (included), or on four D batteries. It’s a multi-band unit that can receive AM or FM as well as CB, SW1 and SW2, TV1 and TV2, and AIR / WB / PB. It has a fancy “Direction Finder” on the top that I haven’t bothered to figure out, but I did haul out an old cassette tape and tried it – the deck still works fine! It apparently also functions as a PA if you plug in a mic, but I haven’t tested that either. But as you can tell from the video, it’s working well, and the speaker isn’t blown. Fun little vintage piece!
