Pioneer SX-780 Power Supply Repair Kit High-Quality Receiver Recap Set w/ Relay

Up for sale here is this power supply recap set for a Pioneer SX-780. This is all the parts you need to rebuild a Pioneer SX-780 power supply section, found at the left side of the large circuit board. Over time, the three power supply heat-sinked transistors in the SX-780 run so hot that they often desolder themselves or overheat and die, leading to a receiver that won’t come out of protection. The old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes all 6 capacitors, 4 transistors, 8 diodes, and a replacement relay. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are 105° Panasonic FC and Nichicon PW caps at the correct uf and the same or higher voltage ratings, the transistors are the correct OnSemi subs for the original transistors, the diodes are 1N4004s and 1N5404 diodes, and the relay is a new Omron relay. These are extremely high-quality parts, and they are what I use when I rebuild Pioneer gear. This kit is not guaranteed to fix your SX-780 if it will not come out of protection, but it will certainly help it run better, and will fix many non-working SX-780s. This kit does not include the two large main filter capacitors. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is mildly complicated, and you should know what you’re doing and have a decent soldering iron, as well as a little heat-sink compound. Pioneer SX-950 Amp Board Rebuild Kit AWH-050 Recap & Repair Kit Complete!

Up for sale here is this AWH-050 amplifier board rebuild set for a Pioneer SX-950. This is all the parts you need to rebuild a Pioneer SX-950 amplifier board. Over time the amp boards start developing issues with transistors and capacitors, and sometimes completely blow up. The old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes all 8 capacitors, all 12 transistors, and all 4 trimmers. It does NOT include the big white resistors, any other resistors, or any output transistors. I have new OnSemi MJ21195G/MJ21196G outputs listed here if you need them, and I have the big white emitter resistors available here. The entire amp board uses 8 outputs (4 pairs), and you should replace all 4 on the channel if you are replacing any. Please don’t buy any of the Chinese output transistors on eBay–those are counterfeit and will blow up. These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild Pioneer gear. The capacitors are Nichicon PW, Nichicon KT, and Wima film caps at the correct uf and the same or higher voltage ratings, the trimmers are new Bourns trimmers, and the transistors are Fairchild/Onsemi and are the correct subs for the original transistors. Frankly, “recapping” is a waste of time if you’re not going to replace the transistors as well. A lot of times the transistors age worse than the caps, so you should definitely change out the transistors while you’re in there. If you’re having amp board issues, it’s very likely to be a transistor issue. If your amplifier board has actually “blown up” and you see smoke marks and blackened components, those are most likely resistors and will need to be replaced as well. I will include a surprisingly well-written instruction sheet, but this is a pretty complicated repair, so if you don’t have much experience with this, buy the kit and take it to a professional. You should definitely have a fair amount of soldering experience and have a decent soldering iron, a dim-bulb tester, and heat-sink compound, as well as the usual tools. Denon POA-1500 Lights Service Amplifier Update Repair Kit MDK 15001 Instructions

Up for sale here is this update kit for the Denon POA-1500 amplifier lighting. These parts were originally offered by Denon as #MDK 15001. The POA-1500 lighting section is improperly designed, leading to premature light bulb burnout and other issues. This kit will correct that. It includes two 2SC2655 transistors (for TR35 & TR36), two 4.7k ohm 1/2W 5% carbon film resistors (for R101 & R102), and ten 28v 60ma 4mm light bulbs (to replace all the bulbs in the POA-1500). Installation is fairly simple. You will need a pencil-type soldering iron, some sort of desoldering tool, a Philips screwdriver, and wire-cutters. You can get a free service manual at HifiEngine or ElektroTanya. In order to install this kit, desolder and remove resistors R101 and R102 and replace them with the new 4.7k ohm resistors. Resistors are non-polar so they can go in either way. Then desolder transistors TR35 and TR36 (should be 2SC1815) and replace them with the new 2SC2655 transistors, which go in the same way as the old ones. Then desolder and remove all the old light bulbs and solder in the new ones. The bulbs are all non-polar so they can go in either way.
