For sale is Two Piece New/High Quality “U.S. Manufactured” foam surround kit made specifically for a Cerwin Vega 12″ angled cone woofers with 9.5″ diameter cones such as: CVT12, CVT100SA, CVT120, CVT200A, D5, DX5, D6, E312, L121-4, RE-30, VSW12, VW12D, VW12P, W12, 36R, 39P, 313, 313B, 300SE as well as others. NOTE: This kit will not fit flat edge type cones with a ¼” flat attachment lip. If you’re not sure of which kit you need, please click on “Ask a Question” link at the bottom of the page. This kit includes: Two (2) premium quality, double laminate (pink top & gray bottom) polyether foam surround, (the best money can buy) detailed “easy to follow” instructions, (written for the first time speaker repair person- for this specific type of driver/surround installation) alignment c.d. and clear drying adhesive. Recone kit for the Cerwin Vega re30 REW12 woofer. Red over gray foam like original. All new high precision voice coils, on ALUMINUM formers like the originals. Cerwin used aluminum formers for a reason. They are stronger and dissipate heat better than kapton, which is what everyone else uses in their kits these days. Several years, and more recones than I can count went into developing these to provide kits that not only take the pounding that I know you’re going to give them, but also match the t/s parameters of the originals. These cones are pressed rather than pulp, so they are thinner but more dense, and retain the same mass as original. Kits include everything in the picture. Shims available on request. Also included is a sheet of tips and suggestions from decades of experience, along with my personal phone number should you have an issue. A Cerwin Vega RE-30 Speaker, woofer is still intact but will need refoamed which you can get a kit for 25.00 online. Please look at the pictures for all details of speaker before purchasing. Selling individually to keep costs down for buyer. Both weighs approximately 130lbs together so selling separately. UPS wanted 400-1300 to ship together. Must purchase both to ship them. Some minor scratch and scuffs.
