I have been servicing Phase Linear units for a while. With years I’ve developed deep respect toward Phase Linear gear . It is a pity to see how many units are suffering from always failing incandescent bulbs! How much money is wasted for services to replace those incandescent bulbs over and over again! After many years of back and forth I decided to develop a perfect/exact LED replacement that has the same color temperature for the meters, indicators, lettering/paneling. Due to this I decided to develop these proper voltage bulbs. I got in touch with a manufacturer of LED bulbs and worked with them to develop this LED bulbs. I am glad to announce that I succeeded. Phase linear 400 Series Two – Complimary output-White Oak Cntrl board PL14_20 #1

Phase Linear 400 Series Two amplifier Ser. No. 32388. (Rebuilt and upgraded with White Oak Audio Control board). This Powerful amplifier at 210 WPC (and more) is fully functional, original latter 8 Heat sink Fins model. THIS UNIT IS AN ORIGINAL COMPLIMENTARY OUTPUT CONFIGURATION. This PL-400 Series Two Amplifier is wired for 120 Volts A.C. and is reconfigurable for 240 Volts A.C. by a Qualified Technician. The unit has been fully repaired and operational with the Following features: 1) 6 Selected matched ON SEMI MJ21196G Transistors and 6 Selected matched ON SEMI MJ21195G Transistors Output devices (lot #BMTC234807) and (Lot #BMTZ380045) from the reputable vendor NEWARK Elec. It is highly recommended that an external heat sink fan be used when running at full capacity to get the most out of the new transistors are more powerful than the original parts. 2) PL 36 control board replaced with the White Oak Audio Professional PL14_20Rev G1 Dual Mono Control Board. Resistors were also tested for specs and replaced as needed. 3) Power supply 5,900uf Caps replaced with MEPCO/CENTRALLAB (3186EF153U100AMA2) 15,000uf Caps. 100 WVDC. 85C Temp and .01uf Disk caps installed on Bridge Diode for added noise control and .01uf Decoupling Caps. 4) Original specs type 8 AGX and 10 AGC fuse were replaced. 5) Rail handles added for the convenience of transport and Look. In short, a lot of work went into this power amplifier, including cleaning and replacing internal parts and cosmetically pampered. It does, as with any Vintage machine some small minor dings and scuffs. Look at the pictures. A COPY of the Owners Manual from the original document. After listening to this amplifier, you will cling to it. It is also recommended by Phase Linear to make sure you install an AGC (Fast blow) fuse or Equiv In-Line with each Speaker Channel for your speaker Wattage ratingl. (For 210 Watts at 8 Ohms) in-line to each channel to protect the speakers. With these modifications This PL-400 Series Two is stronger and more reliable than ever before. Your speakers will come alive. This vintage amplifier also features Phase Linear updated 8 Heat Sink Fins (See pictures.). This is a vintage device, born sometime in 1978 or later (Estimate) , there is always a risk that periodic cleaning, or repairs will be needed, to keep it functioning perfectly. Please do not buy if you are nervous or do not understand the burden and stewardship of vintage, revered machine ownership. There are strictly NO RETURNS. If you know what you are buying, you will not be disappointed. I custom made the Packing box similar to the original Phase Linear packing Protection method as well.
