He started a training program in 1906 and these training books mirror the electronics courses he designed and taught at 2533 N. Ashland Ave, Chicago which became DeVry Training School in 1953 and moved to 4141 W. Belmont Ave. Chicago. The back cover of all of the manuals all have a message from E.B. DeVry.
