1925 Baldwin 99 Round Radio Speaker w/Concentric Snail Shell Horn * Works Great
Here’s a seldom seen Baldwin “99” radio speaker that dates to the mid-1920’s. Though it bears a passing resemblance to a cone speaker from that era, it is in fact a horn speaker, with a Baldwin driver mounted on the small end of a snail-shell style bell made of molded plaster whose mouth opens onto the entire backside of the front grill.
