Made of stainless steel, diameter is 13.90 mm The arm lifter has a total height of 29 mm including the thickness of the arm rest, the useful size for the excursion of the fixing bracket is 15 mm + the thickness of the bow of 5 mm.Other new features are:1 basic adjustment of the central piston (+4.5 mm).The brass inner central body has 3 threaded holes with relative grub screws, through which it is possible to adjust the height of the stainless steel central pin (central piston), which has a maximum adjustment of +4.5 mm from the standard height (29 mm). This is useful when the arm lift support bracket is far from the arm tube and therefore it is needed an arm lifter with an arm rest positioned higher (+4.5 mm max ) than common arm lifters found on the market.2 fine adjustment during music playback ( 1.3 mm = 5 mm )The central pin (central piston) supporting the arm rest has a threaded upper hole with a slotted head machine screw, as standard the screw is totally screwed in. Audiosilente ItalyNEW sintered bronze bushings for Thorens 124 STEPPED PULLEY – Impregnated with Shell turbine oil and made to an impressive production tolerance of 0,005 millimeters! 2 pcs+ delrin mini tool We are pleased to announce that after months of testing and hard work the sintered bronze bushings for the stepped pulley of Thorens 124 are finally available. Produced in Germany to our specifications, they are formed through the use of heat and pressure by pouring bronze powder into a mold cavity just like Thorens used to. The porosity of the bore and the self-lubricating property of the obtained part assures the constant presence of an oil film around the axle of the stepped pulley to maximize silent operation of such a crucial component of the “drivetrain” . Unlike the spare parts commonly available on the market that comply with ISO F7 specifications and allow an excessive clearance of 0.022 millimeters, our bushings have been carefully made to a production tolerance of 0.005 millimeters, which from our studies is the best value to avoid play and keep the stepped pulley silent and efficient. Impregnated with Shell synthetic turbine oil (22%), our stepped pulley bushings are supplied with a plastic punch to enable the end customers to perform the replacement quickly and easily. We are very pleased to present the new idler wheel for Garrard 301/401, recently reviewed on Stereophile as “excellent value and highly recommended”. and listed in the “recommended components” survey since 2018.We conceived an unprecedented idler wheel design and made new sintered bushings to overcome the rumble and loss of traction of the original idler wheel assembly. In fact over the decades the old rubber hardens and the bushings wear out generating speed inconsistencies and mechanical noise. Designed for silent operation through the special density of the rubber mix – other materials such as polyethylene and all plastic derivatives were descarded because of their hardness – it enhances the rhythm and timing of the music while ensuring more grip than the original.The square cross section ring introduced by us in 2016 is obtained through the vulcanization of natural rubber and makes the wheel more durable as the rubber element can be easily replaced. As a final touch every wheel is ground on a special jig to achieve perfect roundness. We also supply new idler carrier sintered bushings that keep the steel axle wrapped in a thin oil film and ensure smooth rotation. For this purpose new upper and lower bronze bushings were heat pressed from bronze powder to our specifications.Their strict tolerance eliminates any wear-related play. All the wheels are individually tested on units from different manufacture batches.
