Akai x-360 Reel to Reel Local Pickup Only S.A.T.X. WORKS , READ Here a real nice looking Akai “Cross Firld Head” Reel to Reel. This model has a built in amp and speakers that work properly. The unit operates mechanically well in every function ( rewind, stop, start, fast forward.), however it has a Slower than normal playback…this means it needs a new drive belt or possibly a new Motor capacitor ( a hard value to find).Everything is in excellet shape- capstan, heads, pinch roller.There is an issue with the big pully to the left of the heads, it turns a little out of round, so I found another unit that has a new gear to mount on the mechanism inside.Please message me for additional info.

I can attest to the fact that it powers on, all knobs and wheels function properly and built in speakers produce sound as should. The only thing is it’s missing one of the four feet out stands on so it’s sitting on a slight lean. A shim suffices as a quick and easy fix. Asking $500 OBO. Will ship free of charge if purchase price paid is $500. Any less and you will have to pay shipping and I’ll use the service you request. Located in Bush, LA.

Yes it works but it plays this real really fast and idk how to make it slow down. Idk if the buttons work or not but the switch where the name is works and makes it sound different but still plays really fast. Tge lights work on it and idk if the knobs work or not I’m not a professional when it comes to these. But it does play reels fast. And the fast forward and rewind works.
