This listing is for One Speaker!!!. The unit was in use until recently..the previous owners said it worked, but I didn’t test it myself, so I am selling it As Is Untested..the speaker has cosmetic wear scuffing scratches and dust..the previous owners also put contact paper on the edges which is peeling off..unfortunately the wood is peeling with the paper..see pics for more detail..I didn’t remove the screen because it is stapled on and I didn’t want to risk damaging the speaker so I don’t know the condition of the speaker foam beneath…see pics for more detail!! Pair of Acoustic Research AR-2ax “early” Speakers ('64-'70) Serial #'s: AX106032 and AX106024 In good condition. They sound great. I did test them – both work fine. On one speaker (on the back), the connection between “2” and “T” is severed. One Grill has a stain and small tear/hole. Cabinets show wear and someone (not me!) taped the corner that had separated. I wasn’t able to get the cloth grills off, I didn’t want to force anything. Not used in over 30 years. Stored in clean, smoke-free room. Sold AS IS. Local pickup is preferred (21244) but can get quotes if need be. To ship, I will repost them separately – since eBay only allows one label per order. Each measures 13 1/2 x 11 1/2 x 24 36.5 lbs each Contact me with any questions.
