This new custom crafted tube test socket adapter allows the user to test many large power tubes on either a Hickok TV-7 or 539B or C model tube tester. A 242-A tube is shown in one photo for demonstration purposes only and is not included with the adapter. The 4-pin adapter plug is put into the 4-pin socket on the tester and then the settings are made for the tube type being tested. Color of the wires may vary depending on supply availability. Inputs are provided for a plate cap if needed and also for connecting an amp-meter to check plate current. The plate cap cable and ceramic cap are included. A laminated chart is also included with test settings for eleven different tube types that can be tested with this adapter on your Hickok TV-7 (any model) or 539B or C tester. Felt pads are installed on the bottom of the adapter. Test settings are included for the following tube types: 203, 203-Z, 211 aka VT-4-C, 242-A, 503, 805, 838, 845, 8003, PJ-12 and ZB-120. This adapter is constructed with high quality components housed in a custom crafted plastic case. The case measures 3-3/4 inches wide, 4-3/4 inches deep and 1-1/4 inches high. Total height including the case, the tube socket and the test leads is approximately 2-1/2 inches.
