Concept 16.5 receiver rebuild restoration recap service kit fix repair capacitor

The scarcity of good, honest techs who can do good and reasonably priced restoration/rebuild of audio equipment inspired me to create this restoration kit. In today’s day and age, it is difficult to find a knowledgeable technician who can service your audio gear properly. I have seen many poor quality restorations of equipment that cost way too much for their owners. In 99% of the cases, only a few parts were replaced, instead of a full and proper restoration job.A proper restoration must replace all electrolytic capacitors on all boards. Do not fall for partial kits that restore just one PCB (power supply, power amp, etc.). This is not a good or proper way to restore your audio equipment. It is the same as with car tires; one should never replace just one tire and keep the other worn-out tires on. A proper rebuild requires a full recap of all PCBs.On the other hand, if one succeeds in finding a good tech, the wait time is usually 6-12 months for the unit to be serviced, and costs are sky-high. I have been servicing audio equipment for many years and have developed deep respect for all good equipment. Knowing how amazing and warm these units can sound, I decided to put together this kit. It includes very good upgrades and improvements that must be done to the unit. This restoration kit will make a huge difference in the sound quality. All the parts are of high-quality Japanese Nichicon / Rubycon / IC / United Chemi capacitors.I am extremely particular about the quality of the parts provided in this kit. Knowing how many bogus/fake caps, diodes, resistors, etc. are out there, I source all the parts from reputable wholesalers and buy them in bulk. Vintage audio equipment has the potential to deliver rich and authentic sound when it is properly restored. Not only can it enhance your listening experience, but it can also evoke memories and bring joy to your life. Let’s work together to bring your vintage gear back to its full potential, and make sure you have the music you deserve. ♩♬♫♪♫♩♬ “They Shall Have Music”- Avery FisherIncluded in this kit: 1. Power/Filter stage capacitors (Nichicon / Nippon / United Chemi) electrolytic capacitors. 2. Atelier Rullit field coil full range speakers AERO 10 FC Telefunken coils + PSU

Neue Seite 1 Here’s another offer from Atelier Rullit: A pair of AERO 10 field coil full range speakers – a must-have for the reproduction of unplugged instruments, as played in acoustic jazz or whatever kind of chamber music, and the reproduction of the human voice in opera or musical. In that construction we have used pre war original Telefunken field coils, highly matched – two pieces from approx. 40. They are suitable to play in open back cabinets, open baffles and front loaded horns. In a 2-way combination they are fine for all kinds of music including rock and full sized orchestras. Here are some technical facts: The outside diameter is 250 mm, 7.3 ohms voice coils, 1.7 kohms field coils (high matched original Telefunken), 160 VDC max, Fs 40Hz free air, 32Hz on a front loaded horn. The weight is 4.8kg each. Breath taking sounding drivers. * * * To add a few more thoughts on this matter, I would suggest to compare a ferrit magnet to mere tap water, an AlNiCo to the kind of premium mountain water being offered in supermarkets, whereas field coil represents the water you take directly from its origin somewhere in the woods – refreshing and rich in taste. Just close your eyes and try to imagine their undoubtedly different qualities. Please feel free to ask any question that may arise. This is a really rare opportunity to purchase a unique pair of speakers “hand made in Germany”.

Genuine Cerwin-Vega DT3 tweeter diaphragm NOS AT-8, AT-10, Re30 speakers

Genuine Cerwin Vega tweeter diaphragm for DT3 tweeter, used in AT and RE series. If your tweeter is blown, this will fix it. Easy to do. Take out your tweeter, lay flat, and remove the two small screws that hold the magnet to the plastic frame. Lift the magnet straight up. These kits come with new gaskets, but if the gasket sticks to the magnet (which it usually does) you can just leave that one on. No real need to change it. Then LOOK at the way the diaphragm is in your old tweeter. The round plastic holder has a thinner tab toward the outside edge, and thicker one toward the inside. You’ll see what I mean. Pop out the old plastic ring. Sometimes the old mylar (chrome dome piece) will stick to the frame. No worries, it’s shot anyway, just yank it off. Put the new diaphragm in the frame just like the old one came out. Now, the only part you have to be careful on. Slowly lower the magnet back over the new diaphragm. Best to look straight down on it, and keep the screw holes lined up. Then put the two screws back in, and you have a new tweeter ready to get back to rocking. Yay! 19 years on Ebay, selling mostly speaker related stuff, and mostly Cerwin Vega, with 100% positive feedback. Will be packed securely and shipped promptly. Thanks! (Note:I will be away from noon July 16th to July 20th. Any purchases made will be shipped promptly on the 21st!)
