Both types use the same paper cone that measures 7.5″ in diameter with a small, 3/16″or 1/4″ flat cone attachment edge lip. (where the foam surround is glued on the cone) NOTE: If your cone measures less than 7.5″ and/or doesn’t have a flat attachment lip on the cone, please contact us. We also stock kits for Smaller Advent 9″(7.125″ diameter cone) 2 & 4 piece kits for Advent 8″ (6.0″ cone) and Advent Legacy woofers. Detailed “easy to follow” installation instructions are included and technical support is available if you need help. You DO NOT have to cut out/remove your original dust caps installing this kit so there is NO risk of accidentally cutting the cone,cutting the wires going to the voice coil/cone or cutting yourself.
